Pressure Treated Materials
Kiln-Dried Pressure Treated Lumber (KDAT)
KDAT lumber is kiln dried after pressure treatment which minimizes warps, cups, and twists. It is nationally recognized as a more stable substructure to both wood and composite decking. Treated to UC3A ground contact, available in premium, C&Btr and #1 grades.
Pressure Treated Lumber
Pressure treated lumber is available in a variety of grades including UC3 above ground grade commonly used throughout the U.S. for decking, railing, porch flooring and above ground joists and beams; and UC4 ground contact grade for ground contact posts, joists and beams.
Both pressure treated and KDAT decking are available in 5/4″ x 6″ decking in varying lengths, as well as joist, post and beam sizes.

Thermally Modified Wood Decking
Naturally Durable. Remarkably Stable. Designed for the Outdoors. Thermally modified wood is the ideal choice for decking thanks to its enhanced weather resistance and superior dimensional stability. The modification process transforms the wood at the cellular level—removing moisture-loving compounds and making it hydrophobic. That means it resists absorbing water, which drastically reduces warping, cupping, and splitting.

Lightbulb moment? This makes it perfect for decks, porches, piers, pool surrounds, walkways, balconies, and more.

At ThermalPro Wood, we offer both hardwood and softwood decking options to fit your design vision and performance needs. Many professionals choose Southern Yellow Pine for its unbeatable performance-to-price ratio. Our SYP boards are milled to a true 5/4 dimension (1.25" x 5"), delivering added structural integrity and a solid underfoot feel.
Looking for something with a richer, more exotic aesthetic? Try our thermally modified Ash or Oak, available in 5/4 and 1” profiles, grooved or ungrooved to match your installation preference.

Boards are available in lengths from 8 to 16 feet, and every piece can be factory-sealed with Wood Sealer or finished in one of our 15 custom colors, each with built-in UV protection to enhance durability and preserve the natural beauty of the wood.

Exotic Hardwood Decking
Denser and more durable than softwood, exotic hardwoods make the ideal luxury decking solution. In addition to their natural beauty and longevity, Brazilian hardwoods produce natural oils that repel wood boring insects like termites.
IPE DECKING
Brazilian Ipe is extremely weather-resistant and its rich brown color can last for over 50 years with regular cleaning and resealing. This wood's natural oils make it resistant to insects, rot and mildew but Ipe’s claim to fame is its fire resistance.

GARAPA DECKING
Brazilian Ash or Garapa comes in golden brown shades providing a lighter color than Ipe. While it displays the same longevity, fire, weather, rot and insect-resistance as Ipe it is more budget friendly.

Garape and Ipe decking are available in 5/4”x6”x8’-20’ deck boards
